They both had different diffuser layer on the back of the LCD..
Also odometer has LED reflecting off of it and for the LCD it's back lit straight from the LED...
So you won't get perfectly matching reverse LCD screen..

You can actually change how dark the background is by rotating the polarized film before install. You have to use an LED flashlight behind the screen to get the darkest contrast. On other color leds such as white, I can actually change the background from navy blue to purple depending on what the customer wants. I have been able to match my led swaps almost identically by using this method including my red swaps like yours.
Red never turns out in photos as good as it does in person, that is for sure! Great color choice!

so what kind of film is it? it just looks like window tint on your video lol.
