Let me begin by saying that I am very new not only to this forum, but also to owning a Scion tC. As a matter of fact, I got the car today and registered here today! One thing I noticed right off the bat is that the car simply doesn't have an AUX input - which is a huge problem for me. In terms of finding a solution, I believe I have one, but I really need some feedback as to whether this will work & HOW so.

I wanted to buy this radio:
and then just get an adapter and put it behind the radio and connect the two, then just plug my phone into the radio via an aux cable. Is it that simple, or am I missing something? Sorry if this has been asked before.
