Default '05 stock head unit

hey guy/gals my stock head unit has an "ERROR 4" displaying when i try to listen to my cd's. does anyone know how i can fix this??

-it always ejects them, until now. now it wont eject or load the cds.

- yeah i have the 6 cd changer, usually i turn the car off at night, and in the morning it will be working fine. this time its been almost a week

yeah 6DISC sucks! you can try to get a new one at the dealership if u still have warranty.

i had the same problem, i had error 3 and error 4. i had it replaced at the dealership and it happened again after a couple of weeks. My solution was to buy a d3 :D

Throw a switch inline with the igniion power to the radio. when you get the error flick the switch on and off. Acts the same as turning your car off. Radio will start working again

I think error4 was "high current". But yeah the 6 disc definitely had a lot of problems, you can see why the 06-up didn't have it again. If you have warranty the dealer should replace it with a new one, or give you a newer 06+ headunit
