Just curious, Since I posted my system diagram I made for myself this morning I received a bunch of pm's asking to make them for people or asking were I got it from. I am thinking about trying this out as another part of the general stuff I do.

As part of my real job, I take complex documents and make them so anyone can read them. Basically a translater for the real world so I think I can do a good job with this.

I have heard there was another company that was doing this but no longer exists? Does anyone know more or what prices he was charging?

Just trying to research to see if this is viable and if more people than the ones that pm'ed me would be interested.

Here is an example of one I made today for myself. Nothing crazy, just wanted an easy to read diagram for car shows.

Will research what the prices will be. If the pics are available and good quality, most likley would be in the $50.00 range. If I have to do a bunch of custom work or make drawings of each item, the price would jump up very fast.

 

so far my system keeps changing so not sure i'd want to pay that kind money for something that might be "wrong" in a few months.

 

Understood which is why I am just researching if it is workable. Also once a diagram is done changes would obviously not cost as much as a new diagram unless you are like me and change everything out on a reg basis haha.

 

yea my entire setup has changed over the last couple months. i had no no intention of swapping stuff out but did.

i'll still be interested though. so i'll check this later.

Also did a few quick designs to see what is possible and if I can do them quicker than the one I did for myself and basic versions are possible and would be only around $30 worth of labor if good pics are available.

 

where will you be finding pics of the equipment? just from the manufactures website? $30 doesn't sound bad at all. how much would it be down the line to change a thing or two on it? say i changed both my mids and tweets, how much would it be to change the diagram to show the new drivers?

 

Working all that out, photos will most likley come from anyplace or customer provided as obviously it would not be possible fo rme to buy every peice of equipment to photograph haha

For small changes, should be no more than $10.00
