I was visiting another forum and there was a guy there saying that the 06 stock HU's were not as good as the 05's.. but other's who say they are the same except for the *****..

so anyone here listen to both? any difference??

 

There won't be any difference in the way it sounds, at least there shouldn't be... just the look of it...

 

I have an '05 in my '93 Toyota Pickup and an '06 in my tC no real difference with decent speakers in the truck and stockers in the tC. The controls are 10x better on the '06 though, much more intuitive.

 

The power output (watts) is exactly the same and the speakers have remained unchanged. The only difference, as stated above, are the button designs and layouts.
