Default 06 TC Head Unit Upgrade guide with pictures?

On any normal forum the moderators sticky these kind of guides but somehow Scionlife never does. Does anybody have a link to a tC head unit swap guide with some pictures?

well its not very efficient to have people asking the same question over and over again. Im a firm believer in using the search function and only asking questions when they havent already been answered. but its not stickied and the search function didnt turn up what im lookin for.

FYI: the silver console part comes up with your nails. Just start lower (about 4inches below the radio) and lightly pry one side up a tad. You will see how easy it comes up once you try. Then from there .... you can just take the radio out. have fun.

btw, one more question, the dash kit that I ended up getting was from a local car audio place its the Metra 99-8209, their catalogue said it fits ALL scions but on the bag it says scion xA and xB 2004+ which says nothing about the tC. Do all scions work with the same dash kits?

The metra kit that Ultimate Electronics sold me does not work with the tC only the xB and xA. I looked over the guide that was posted in this thread and that mounting kit looks nothing like mine, I cant find that one for sale on the internet either. Could someone link me to where to buy the mounting kit that is in the guide posted here?

I bought mine at a local should and they said it fits all 3 of them, and It did. It had marked on the plastic xa, xb, tc with different tabs, I had to cut all the tabs off that didnt say tC and then it fit perfect. I dont know the metra number, but I imagine its all the same for the 3.

the kit that I bought and have subsequently returned only had tabs labeled for xB and xA there were no tabs for tC. I called around town here and nobody seems to have kits for tC's.
