Default 08 tc weird sound system problem

maybe its just me, but it seems like my sound system is louder while im driving and softer when i come to a stop. this is while im listening to the ipod. i havent checked if it does the same thing with the radio because i just thought of doing that as i typed out this post. anyways does anyone else have this issue?

It has an option built in to do that. I can't remember what its called, but it gives you the High medium low and off options. Basically its supposed to turn your radio up when there is road noise to compensate. I believe anyway, I could be mistaken.

YEAH I BELIEVE ITS THE SCION SSP FEATURE ON THE HU... ITS NORMAL... I HAVE AN 06 AND IT DOES THE SAME...

hahaha lol you didnt know what it was? yea you can turn it off if it bothers you that much but i like it. I leave it on low and its pretty helpful.

Yea SSP thats it, I leave it on medium, but I don't notice it much...

man, i wish i had this "issue". haha....the 05's got nothing! no aux in, ipod connect, steering wheel controls....

oh well.

The idea comes from more expensive luxury cars. (Especially convertibles.)
My lady friend's convertible 330i BMW does that. It's a nifty little feature.

it's called ASL guys. Automatic Sound Levelling. it's under audio control in your head unit, lvlonkey.
