I ran 4 gauge, but that is because I am planing on doing more audio work next summer. If you even think you may go bigger or build more I would suggest using 4 gauge.

 

Definatly always go bigger with your wires....those who have been there befire will tell you how much it sucks to pull it all out and do it over cause you got a bigger amp and subs.I went 0/1 and to be honest I could of gotten away with 4guage......but I plan on going to 2 amps with more watts one of these days and wanted to have the option not to have to tear out the whole interior ever agin.

 

Also very true that once you hear a SQ system it is hard to go anyother direction.

SQ can go very loud,the trick is to get it tuned and proper parts that work well together.quality amps,quality subs and matchd boxes,sound deadening,quality comps.

I really wanted to hear Nebsters system.....I have not gotten to hear DLS amps yet,but I am sure they are very clean.

 

i'll still have dls amps in the new car.

I wish I could do DLS. But I cant pass up cost on JL audio stuff. Bet Ben is correct, I install car audio and dont believe in caps. Its a bandage for a weak alternator and battery.
