A 10" is more than enough for a tC.

just go with a 10" sub unless you wanna go for bragging rights. 10" sub is your overall sub ood for all types of listening. if you wanna be known look into some good 12" subs. and if you want the eye candy go for a 15" sub but the bigger sub you go, the more bass la you will get. 10s are tighter bass than a 15.

That's completely incorrect. It has nothing to do with the size of the speaker, it's got to do with the motor structure and design of the internal components as well as the enclosure.... There are some 10's that sound like sloppy @ss and some 15's and 18's that sound absolutely amazing, for example the Elemental Designs 16Ov.2 and 19Ov.2 are both Excellent sounding woofers!!!

15's are more for deep boooooom like rap music and 10's are crisp and cleaner yet still hit hard

Like I said, that's incorrect but it is a general assumption many people have. While most of the time, a larger speaker will have more output at a lower frequeny than one of smaller diameter, there are many woofers that have an identical sound allthough they may be at different sizes of the spectrum.

The box is what's going to determine how "quick" the speaker is.

Yes, in the old days, giant speakers were "slower." As long as a speaker is properly designed and put into a matching enclosure, you shouldn't have any issues with "speed."

19Ov.2 ported + Mudvayne = ___ kicked.

I'm not a big audiophile but I like good clean sound. I have a single 10" polk/momo and a Kenwood 250 briged at 2ohms and it does just fine for my needs. I listen mostly to electronica but I also play rap and alternative and for me it works perfect! I like having the trunk space becasue I use my car for work. Just my 2 cents!
