Default 12V socket dead?

Hey all,

About 2 months ago I was plugging in a gps to charge in the lighter socket, the charger was crappy and broke inside the 12v socket. Ever since the socket seems to be dead, and nothing will power/charge. Does anyone have any ideas? If it's the fuse, does anyone know which fuse will need to be replaced and the fuses location.
thanks!

i believe the fuse for that is under the dash... If you look under your steering wheel to the left, there's a box, once you pop it off, it will have a drawing to tell you the exact fuse...

oh and the owner's manual has it too!
