I've tried these top two, the chrome coated super white incandecent and the single white LED for my map lights and both are MUCH dimmer than the stock bulb. Was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for something brighter. How bout the ones below?

Get LEDs (194) from SuperBrightLEDs.com... get the 5LED spread for the dome light and the 6LED (I think it's 6, could be wrong) directional LED for the maplights.

 

I'm a little confused about your post. 168/194 is the bulb that will fit for your map/dome lights. The 921 which is what is in your pics is only in the back up/reverse lights. And I have the bottom one in my tails and am happy with it (the super white incandescent).
As for the 168/194 map lights, I've tried the 4 led and 6 led bulbs from

And I've tried the matrix one here

The matrix one gives the most spread out light and lights up the whole car the best so I put it in the center dome light, and the 4 and 6 led bulbs from superbrightleds are more focused bulbs which all the light comes out of the end so they are perfect for the 2 map lights on the sides. I went with the 6 leds because their brighter obviously.
I wasn't going to replace the rear dome light but after I did the front ones it just didn't match. It's a different color of light. So I replaced it with the 9 led festoon here

It's a little on the expensive side but well worth it. You won't be sorry.
