i believe its the airbag icon thats lit up now. I am out of warranty, how much do you guys think it will cost to fix the airbag problem?

 

quick question.....does the rest of your controls on the steering wheel work? (curious as i have a coworker with a vw that had this issue, lost all contrls and turned out to be the clock spring on the inside needed replaced)

 

all of the controls on the steering wheel work. im wondering since this is a safety issue the government might have a set rule that airbags have to work on all cars with them installed. if so maybe i wont have to pay to have the problem fixed.
