2006 tC Radio not working
So I initially had a battery that needed to be replaced. I took it to the auto store and the guy there accidentally grabbed a reverse terminal battery which resulted in him crossing terminals when he changed it. My car wouldn't start at all after that due to a blown alternator fuse. I replaced that, but my stereo still isn't working. Everything else works fine but the stereo won't even turn on. I checked the fuses for the radio under the steering wheel and they look fine, does anyone know what could be the issue?

Is it a stock radio, or something else. If it is something else, there is most likely an inline fuse tapped into the +12v battery wire going to the radio. These fuses are usually around 10 amps or less and can pop quite easily from something like that.
I have a similar problem. But I was switching amps and accidentally touched the remote wire from the amp to the power wire and my radio blew. I checked the fuse in the engine compartment that shows on the diagram in the owners manual and it is fine. It is a 20. Is there another one I need to find?
