Default 2008 scion Headunit Problem! NO Bass in Subs!?!?!

i just installed my system inside my 2008 scion tc. My Tc is equppied with the upgraded Pioneer headunit that DOES have the RCA jacks in the back.
heres my problem. when i turn the stereo on and turn on the volume i get like NO bass out of my 2 12" subs. I have the Rca cables hooked up to the W on the back of the head unit.
I was going through the head unit and noticed there was a Subwoofer menu but it says Not available! How do i get that menu to function.
the remote wire is hooked up where the stock sub was to the white with grey stripe wire.
and the power cable is ran correctly.
can anyone help me out

turn the power off to the HU and then hold the menu button. You'll get another menu where you can turn that option on among other things.

theres your problem your remote wire is ran incorrectly. Take a volt meter, turn on your car a measure to see if your getting 12 volts to the remote wire on the amp when the car is on. I would run a new wire to the back of the deck instead of using the one for the stock sub.

I don't know about the factory premium pioneer deck but all aftermarket pioneer decks need to have the subwoofer output manually turned on. This usually involves turning the unit off and then getting into the menu and selecting subwoofer control and turning it on. If that isn't "do-able" w/ the factory deck then I'd take a volt meter to the amp and check your constant/ground/and remote wires to make sure everything is getting power when it should.

Also...consult your radio manual..i'm sure it says something in there about the sub output.
