I have an 08 TC and am trying to hook up the navi. All the posts about finding the speed sensor wire on here are regarding 05 to 07 models and it appears to me that the 08's have a different color or location of the speed sensor. Does anyone know for sure what and where it is?? I reallly want to make sure i dont hook it up wrong. Thx.

 

'08 should share the same as the '07s..

they made changes to the '07 which makes it more different than its previous years.

look at the '07 wiring.. and connect to any wire that has 'SPD' (speed) labeled to it.

shoot.. i think the plug that goes into the stock oem radio for the steering wheel controls has a yellow wire that's for that..

 

if it does squall it sure doesn't know what to do with it.

 

FYI--- i did locate the speed sensor wire on the HVAC. It is the Orange/Silver spotted wire in Pin 17. Navigation works good now.

 

I was bout to say......it goes there, although I've noticed the speed kinda lacks a second or 2 behind.......nothin major but just somethin I've noticed
