Default 2010 Stereo wiring harness - Pics of small connector with 5 wires

I scored a good black friday deal on a 2014 Pioneer AVH X2600BT double din head unit. The stereo shop sold me a Scosche flush mount installation kid (which I didn't even open since the new head unit bolted right up to the stock brackets and cleared the factory stereo cover). The only part I needed to install was a generic wiring harness adapter (2 plugs with pigtails).

The main plug was simple to wire, but the smaller one has me confused. Every wiring harness online or reference calls the smaller harness a 4 wire (rear speaker wires). But my car has a 5 wire small plug. And the conversion harness also has a 5th wire pinned in the center labeled "dimmer ground." To avoid any polarity issues I did not connect it to anything but I want to know where it goes on the factory side of the harness. I attached some pics, its the white wire. Please chime in if you have any reliable input. I've already installed it and all functions work properly.

That wire doesn't go anywhere, just a dimmer wire. You hooked it up correctly to the illumination wire. The other piece that they gave you was to fill in the sides of the radio so you dont have any gaps.
