This is a ridiculous idea. I have been following this on and off for months and it is still the same - a waste of precious time for Mando. You could have solved world hunger in the time you have taken to realize this contraption. A freakish idea imo. And some idiot will give you an award for it.

So I suppose you have a better system in your car than 32 subs? Chris is a great guy, extremely helpful, and actually has a life. That is why it is taking him so long to complete it. He is a real person with many responsibilities and limits on his time and money. Perhaps you should be more wary of who you try to flame instead of criticizing one of the greatest minds on ScionLife and in the Scion community as a whole. Chris has helped out numerous people with their stereo setups, is breaking new ground on his 32 sub setup....oh yea, and he literally wrote the book on how to tear apart the interior of your car. He is not wasting his time and it is making progress (I have seen it in person). When he gets this done, it will be on of the most amazing speaker setups anyone will have seen. Good day sir.

 

I definitely agree with you on that. I've been following up on this on and off too, and its a crazzyy project. lol. hope he gets it done soon and he feels better!

While I would never do this to my tC, I'm still anxious as hell to see the finished product in action! It'll be an awesome display of audio firepower!

Wow, what a post. I think if you had ever met Chris is person you'd think differently about him. I had the pleasure of meeting Chris at the Ames, Iowa car show. He went out of his way to talk to me, show me his progess and even answered my rookie car audio questions. Hell, he even walked me over to his tC and showed me the trunk area he's working on and explained in great detail everything he's done and is going to do. That was during his time he spent at the car show that he also ran the SPL contest for - which I'm figuring he probably didn't get paid for (but I can't swear to because I didn't ask).

Chris is a VERY personable guy and seems to be the type that would do anything for anyone.
