Last night I dremeled off the excess on the two "wings"

Shot myself in the eye with a chunk of glass.

Good think I closed it right before it hit me.

dude...safety glasses man. Always a respirator and glasses when working with fiberglass!

I just can't find those goggles so I was using glasses.

Always the respirator and glasses and ear muffs.

I just want goggles now...the chunk shot through the small space between glasses and respirator.

 

ouch...yeah I've had that happen while porting a cylinder head only my enemy was the chunk of aluminum.

that hurt.

 

I'm just lucky it was an edge, so it was 1/2 fluffy glass

 

.. glad you're ok.... gahh... i learned my lesson with hot melted pieces of plastic flying at my eye...

always googles and a mask at least for dremeling... respirator for glass and other crazy air stuff..

 

Yep...Never add pool acid to pool water without eye protection...I learned the hard way when acid splashed up and hit me directly in the eye...After a trip to the hospital and having a very irratated and unconfortable eye for awhile, safety glasses are a MUST for all kinds of projects... Glad that it didn't hit you in the eye, can't wait to see this done...
