Default adding 08+ sub to 06.

Hey guys. i have an 06. i just bought the oem sub that fits in the trunk by the spare tire. jw if anyone has done this on an 06? i think im missing the harness in between the connector somewhere around the console running back to connect the sub/amp. not 100% thought i haven't looked yet.

if i do need a harness does anyone know where i can get it other than toyota? last time i bought a harness from them to set up the ipod controls to my new oem upgraded pioneer hu it was like 80 bucks for a wire and harnesses that weren't longer than a foot.

thanks in advance.

I installed this(Bazooka) sub in my '05. It came with a wiring harness I had to run to the factory stereo.

yeah. im talking about the 08 6" sub that sits under the trunk mat by the spare tire. the 08s come wired already for them, so you just need to connect the harness coming off of the sub/amp to the wiring that is set up already. thats what i need to add.

im just trying to figure out where exactly i need wiring/harnesses up too. because i think there should be a junction somewhere in the middle so i dont have to run it all the way to the front of the car.

toyota was no help. idk what im going to do. hopefully murphys law (the guy i bought the sub from) can grab the wiring out of the 08 he got the sub from for me and hopefully it will attach somewhere in my 06. or ill have to take it to a car audio place and have it wired. or just sell it to someone with an 08.
