Default Alarm Question (Anyone know what type this is)

I bought my 2006 tC used from a private party. The girl I bought it off of didn't have any of the manuals for the car or the alarm. Below is a picture of the led in the knockout panel (the mic to the right is for the bluetooth i installed). I don't have a separate key FOB, just my tC's key. If I hit the lock button twice in a row though the alarm will go off and it is a different horn/light sequence than if I press the panic button. Anyone have any input for me?

Thanks.

just look up under the dash they almost always stash the brain up in there somewhere and just pull it out and look on it and see what it says

Awesome response. Glad people can come here for help and not feel dumb. I personally know nothing about car alarms and figured it was worth a shot based on the stuff listed.

Thanks for the responses. Traced the wires from the led and came to the brain of the unit. It is an Automate AM1. After a few google searches I found a manual stating that it is set by default to have a panic mode if the lock button is pressed twice. I haven't found any information as far as how to disable this yet though. The owner's manual states it is possible but no instructions as to how. Time to keep digging.

Turns out that it is made by Directed Electronics who also makes viper, python, and clifford. They aren't really sold to consumers though. Mostly to dealers and installers. Supposedly it is the same as the hornet 727t which I found some info on so tomorrow I will play.

Thanks for the response though.
