i have an alarm pro ca-330 factory add on alarm. it works essentially the same as the alarm you would purchase from the dealer, it also uses the stock key for arm/disarm

what i would like to do is figure out a way that i can have a ground trigger when someone lifts the door handle. my friends 95 grand am used to turn on the door light when you lifted the door handle (even when it was locked) and that worked really well for his alarm

i'm not sure how i would go about doing this though, i think i would have to fab up some sort of switch and bracket on the inside of the door. i'll take off the door later on today and check it out
