Viper, Compustar are good

791xv on my tC (with auto windows), $250 total (brain, window modules, installation)

Compustar is good. Loving everything about it expecially the 1 mile radius alert paging except for the fact that the guy who installed it placed the siren speaker in a bad place. I guess water can leak into the thing causing it to rust. As i was told. This is the second time that i will have to bring it to the shop.

What compustar alarm system do you guys have? Is it the Compustar 2WSS-AS (alarm with remote start). If so, how much did it run you and where did you buy it from?

I have the 2WSS-AS (alarm with remote start).

It ran me about $450. I got it installed at a local performance shop in chicago.

man im so confused now..so if u get da viper alarm u dont need da scion key with the alrm dat comes with it?..da thing is wud u be able to use dat specific key along with da viper alarn key dat comes in da viper kit dat u buy?

first off... learn to F'ing type in english... OMG...

Viper is a good way... but the newer 5900 is much nicer than the 791... it has the actual 1 mile range... the 791...i would say more like 800 ft..... pretty much anything DEI is good... i.e. viper/clifford/python/hornet...

next in my opinion... come the Auotpage... they make some REALLY nice stuff... they even came out with a unit that you can use your cell phone with... they have good range and are a damn fine alarm/remote start...

then comes compustar... as an installer i personally dont like these units... solely for its installation... not because of the functionality.. but its a good alarm... and i have have good luck with these in customers cars....

these "big three" i would stick to.... anything else... more than likely you will have problems... just my opinion...

Zenesis is a fantastic alarm system, its too bad 180tuning.com that sells it has the absolute worst customer service in the history of the universe.

I havent had any problems with it at all, and its got functions up the hizow!

but like i said, if you have ANY question, they will take at least 3 weeks to get back to you if they even do at all. The only way i got a response is by spamming the question every day until they replied - and it still took almost a month.
