Default Alpine CDA-9851 just brought home!

So i finally did it, grew a sack, threw my $$ away, and got a new HU. I like everything about it (looks, features, alpine quality)...except it doesn't have HPF/LPF crossovers!! what gives alpine?!! For 270 I thought i'd have some crossovers, didn't even realize it till after i got it home. oh well, I'm probably gettin a new fr component set anyway.

Whats up with the bass/treble freq center too? seems a little awkward. why not just use hpf/lpf's. what does everyone have their settings at?

i have 2 10'' subs that kinda drown everything when cranked up.. but here are my settings..

Treble at 3, freq at 12 i think
Bass 2, 1 band, 80 hz
Subwoofer 15

its a nice head unit.. but i was really dissapointed.. help this helps out=
