alpine nav
well i didnt cut any wires or ground anything. All i did was hook up as directed and i just take my ebrake and put something under it small enough to just get the brake light triggered. But they sell a part that you can hook up that bypasses the whole brake thing so you can watch while driving. But i didnt want to spend $70.
no it's actually quite simple. our center dash just clips in and out so there's not even any screws or bolts to mess with there. once that's off you have to unclip the hvac controls (i'm sure there's a pic on here somewhere of that). then the radio is held in by 2 brackets that unscrew. i used the factory brackets to put my alpine iva-d100 in. most headunits have several screw holes in the sides so you can choose which one you need to use. just pick the one that sets the headunit back far enough to put the dash back on and close the door
