So im sick of the week bass coming out of the bazooka, but i love the enclosure....I saw a write up about someone putting an aftermarket sub in the bazooka box and i can't seem to find it...yes i used the search lol. Do you guys think an Alpine Type X 10" sub would fit in this enclosure? Any help is appreciateed thanks

I'm not exactly sure about a Type X.
Here's what I figured out back when I was thinking about this....
Type S: YES the box has enough air, even if you seal the port (using the cheap DIY plumbing stopper trick)
Type R: YES, ONLY if you leave to box ported.
your best bet, measure the volume of the box and then refer to the specs for the Type X. it should say how much air the sub needs ported and non-ported.

you would probably be better off with a non ported box, most subs need much more airspace in a ported box than they would if they were in a sealed box.
since that box is ported and so small your over all SQ will be lacking a bit. I am in the process of fiberglassing a box for a 10 or 12, i haven't decided yet.
Good luck figuring it out though.
