i get a BB discount an im trying to find what i should power my type r components and 10 inch typr r sub. the infinity or the alpines? has anyone owned infinity's amps? how are they? im just thinking about saving a little money on the infinity but don't want to take a performance hit

Get whichever you like or fits your budget best. You're not going to "take a performance hit" by going with Infinity amps in this scenario, and I'm sure most people likely wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the two. Either of the amps setups you listed have the ability to drive your speakers at high levels with decent quality.

 

Keep it clean and simple and go all Alpine...
