Default Amp and AVIC D1 constantly on even when car is off???

so today I go to my car and start it doesnt start. i open my trunk and see that my amp has been on the whole time while my car is off.

this isnt the first time its happened as my avic d1 would stay on when my car is off, but I disconnected the harness till i could fine out whats happening.

I have no idea how to address this solution.

heres some info. that might be useful:

-I have an HID kit (w/relay) and the ground to the kit is on the battery negative terminal
-the power wire from my HID kit and my amp are both connected (next to each other) on the batery positive terminal
-and of course my remote wire is connected from the deck to the amp.
-the ground wire to my amp is on a bolt somewhere in the back.

Please HELP!!!

So the amp is always on then?

well if the D1 is staying on then it will always keep the amp on so the problem is with the D1. Check your wiring behind the radio and make sure that the constant(yellow) and the acc(red) wires do not have any exposed wire and are touching. That would be my best guess without looking at it.

the amp was always on, yes. I kinda was thinking of this because the negative wire from the HID kit would complete the circuit for the amp or something...but i dont know

but the avic d1 harness was already disconnected, so I could look at it during the weekend. meaning, I disconnected the harness so the amp wouldnt turn on at all even when the car is on.

He means to check your wiring connections from the D! harness to the factory harness.
Something is loose and touching or wires where hooked up wrong.

yeah it has to be the harness for the d1, it sends the signal to the amp through the remote wire to tell the amp to turn on or turn off

alright so I looked in the back and sure enough, there were some exposed wires that may have been touching each other. I sealed them off with electric tape and the d1 stays off....for now. thanks for the help!
