I'm not afraid to admit my lack of knowledge when it comes to car audio. I just bought a simple starter sub kit to try out, which happened to be the Visonic V10 bass system that comes in a box already. The amp that came with it apparently sucks because it blew before I even made it home from the installers. Now I'm just trying to find an amp to replace this one but I'm not sure what would be best to go with. Below is a link to the system. I was thinking maybe a 250-500 watt amp. Give me your suggestions for what may be best for this setup (exact amp names,etc). I'd really appreciate it.

U get what u pay for....a box alone typically cost that much.
If u get a proper amp u will most likely blow up that sub. Or it will sound like poop.
Either way Rockford p300-1 is an great amp for the price ~$130

dam you be off better with the walmart amp xplode had them before when i was pushing 15.... but for me i say memphis ftw....
