What up I searched and saved some threads about this topic but im still unclear of things. This is my first install of a system. Its an 07 TC model. Now I opened up the hood and I found both firewalls or gromments. I dont know what a gromment is but im guessing its that rubber tube or casing i dont know. But I found one on the driver side and passenger side. Basically what I'm asking is how do I get a 4 ga. wire through it?? Im just scared i might cut something important or do something wrong. and for routing the power cable and rca cable do I gotta take out the entire back seat?? if so how do I do that. If there is a place with pictures or anything for the simple mind like me please let me know. I plan on doing this tomorrow once I receive the box. Thanks in advance

for the power cable to the battery, trace your hood opening latch to the firewall. there should be a grommet. place an incision in the grommet, feed the power cable through there. it will end up behind your driver side strut tower thingy.
