Any DIY's or pics?
LOC:
wrap all the black wire together and all the reds together on the LOC. connect those to a power source such as the wires to back speakers. T-tap or whatever the red (LOC) onto red (speaker) and black onto black (pretty simple) then when its hooked up, plug in the RCA cables
Remote Wire:
not sure which wire it is on the tC but if its the same as an xB (which it probably is) tap into the gray wire on the wiring harness that connects to your radio

Ok on my LOC the only colors that I have are 2 gray, 2 brown, and 2 white. I know that with each color there is a possitive and a negative. On my harnesses I don't have a black wire at all.

you dont need to connect the LOC to the wiring harness on the radio, just a power source. since the subs will be in the trunk, tap into the Pos. and Neg. of the speaker. makes it much easier by eliminating having to run the wires to the front
Ok I have everything connected but the amp does turn on. I connected the remote to the gray wire in the harness. The power cable is connected to the battery and the fuse is not blown. Everything is connected to the amp and the fuse on the amp is not blown. I made sure that all of my connections were good and tight, but I have no idea what else could be preventing power to the amp. No I will say tha amp is used so could the amp be blown and would that cause no power to the amp? Outside of that I am stumped!!!
best thing to do is use a line tester to see if your getting power from the battery and the remote wire. you can reverse it to see if you have a good ground too.

you can find some real cheap for $1-2

not just easier but better sound also. its just a lil box shaped thing that you splice into the stock harness and you get RCA in return . so imagine a box with 4 wires on one side and 2 rcas on the other..ive done one for a friend. it works if your on a tight budget
on the LOC there should be about 5 wires... on the wire harness out of the stereo tap the RL+ (brown) to the L+, RL- (yellow) to the L-, RR+ (red) to the R+, RR- (white) to the R-. then for your remote you can use the grey wire which i believe is the ignition 12V+.
