Depends. If you want to conserve trunk space and hide the sub by the spare tire, get the SQ10. I don't like RF, so and I don't know much about the Alpine, so get the eD.
Post what kind of box you are looking to get, type of music, SQ or SPL (I'm guessing SQ with only 1 10) and people can help more pin point something or suggest something else.

i like kicker. the boston G5 is a damn beast. i heard the type S before, i wasnt too impressed by them personally. RF are good speakers, but i heard the kickers hit harder. and i would love to tell you about eD but i havent heard any... i really want to compare eD and kicker.. so of your choices i say get eD
.6 is big for the SQ10... I'd run the eD SQ10 in the range of .25 to .4 cu ft.... obviously .25 will give you better upper end extension and more power handling but .3-.4 will give you better low frequency extension and about average power handling..
Go with the ED SQ-10. I bought one friday and I love it. Not only is the sub very well priced while still being quality, ED is a great company to work with. I will definately be doing more business with that company.
THansenite, what size box do you have your SQ10 in? Is the 110v.2 a 10"? It does look like a beast. That sounds like a good deal. Didn't know anything about a forum discount. How do you go about getting the discount? Both of those can go in some pretty small boxes. Yea, that would be nice to have something that hits a good bit harder, lower, and has better SQ than the stock sub. I figure either of those would be like a night/day difference between the stock piece of crap bazooka sub. Is this a good assumption to make?
the 11Ov.2 is a 10" sub... all eD's subs are 1unit smaller than the actual model number... example: 9Kv.2 is an 8", 11Kv.2 and 11Ov.2 are 10", 13K and O are 12", 16Ov.2 is 15" and 19Ov.2 is 18"
They number them like that because they say any other company would have to use the one inch larger basket piece in order to fit the structure that's housed in their subs...
an 11Ov.2 is going to be a considerable amount louder than an SQ10 and may have better SQ (I've not heard an SQ10) but the SQ10 is oriented for a specific application (i.e. small spaces) while still retaining output and quality...
To get the forum discount, just call up eD to place your order... you can see forum prices by typing - forum - into the search bar on the website (www.edesignaudio.com)

ok, one thing i've been wondering is what is the difference between dual 2 and dual 4 voice coils? Like, when would you use each? Is it dependent on the amp and how many ohms your running? or am i completely off on this?
it depends on how much load you want to put on your amplifier.
check out rockford fostgate's subwoofer amplifer wiring guide to see what i mean. just google it and it'll be the first result

ok guys, thanks for the help. I'm really leaning towards going with the SQ10 at the moment. My main priority is to have a sub that is all around better than the stock sub, and i don't want it to take up a whole lot of space. I'm thinking that the SQ10 will be plenty.
