Default Anyone else have 2 runs of 0 awg in the tC?

YAY...I do.

Here's how I got it in...yes, that's a pair of scissors...

Also, there's a really nice clip for the hood release wire...fits 2 runs of 0 awg with a little convincing ;)

Both of 'em coming out the firewall

My new friend the Yellow Top. Fits perfect, just needed a 1/2" spacer on the drivers side under the nut.

Also, ran some new Krystal Kable RCA's down the passenger side:

They just look like they belong there.

And yes...it's dirty, got vacuumed last night

Mandos,
refresh my memory. did you run those *through* the boot, or on the outside of the boot, in regards to passing through the firewall?

Check out the scissor picks.

Basically made the hole bigger, then had to jam that in to open it far enough. Unfortunately 2 STILL wouldn't fit. So I put one through about a foot, then taped up the second and pulled as hard as I could to pop it through that thing.

Paring knife and Scissors...gotta love improvisation.

I never did get a pic of that.

Think...Ron Burgundy in Anchorman with his feet sitting on the headrest and his head on the brake pedal, with his hands shoved up in the dash.

Clean install. Why 2 power wires though and not a distro block?

Ah, good call. And thumbs up again on the clean wiring, I've seen some installs that would make you want to cry.

The vehicles Chassis is worth about a 4 AWG wire. If one wire was for power and the other for ground, that's awesome.

mandos: haha nice! reminds me of the things we'd see in the shop! My all-time favorite was this old Mitsu Eclipse that had the radio with some apparently home-made brackets NAILED into the dash and the wires all scotch taped together. Another favorite was power wire ran underneath the car, zip tied here and there to the chassis... I think even funnier than some of the installs were the things we found in customer's back seats!

Or...if once done...there's 2 runs of 0 awg for grounding the stereo going back to the battery
