Default anyone make custom systems for my hatch?

hey everybody. if anyone makes custom systems, get at me. i live in RI. ive been looking at the thread with everyone's systems, and got some ideas. i DONT want to lose my spair tire, but dont mind losing the space to the right of it. i want something that looks good, but doesntttt take up my whole trunk/hatch. i dont want something bulky, just something that looks good and gives me some extra bass. i want either a sub or two with an amp set up some way that looks good. i was thinking id probably want to use an sq10 slim sub from ED or pioneer slim subwoofer cuz it saves space. i dont want some massive carpet box sitting in my hatch looking ugly. so... anybody got ideas? if it looked good and didnt come too far out, i wouldnt mind something stretching against my seatback. i really like the eD stealthbox idea its always been my favorite. sometimes i like the setups with a box on either side of the hatch since it doesnt take up too much room. however, i stumbled on this-http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b5...921061703c.jpg and this http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...0/dantc111.jpg-in the thread and i really really really like them. i think systems like this that are flush with the floor look awesome. could this be possible without taking out the spare tire and stuff? maybe by using slim subs? i think that last link is my favorite now..... anyway... let me know what you can do! an approx price would help a lot, and just get creative let me know what u come up with and ill say if i like it!

see you did your research...

Im sure if you raise the floor, and incorporate a hinge system, you can keep your spare...

The "well" that the tire sits in is all of 2.5" deep. You have about 4" above that, so 6.5" total. You'll get nothing flush-sitting aside from an eD SQ10 box and an amp nestled in the spare (or mounted elsewhere).

what about if i raised the floor? like a false floor. with the second link... could i re-create that if i put a shallow-mount sub and amp above my floor and then put a false floor on top of that? or could i put the sub inside the spare and cut a whole in the floor to put the top of the sub through? by the way- i love your setup KINGxOFxSKA. and your tails!

Thanks!

There's really no way of getting around it if you want the sub in the center. It's either spare or no spare. Don't you have roadside assitance? That's why i'm not worried.

If you have roadside assitance, they will tow your car home (depending on how far you are and how many miles you have). You can put on the spare when you get home.

anything custom won't come cheap... if you were to make it, yes a custom setup would run cheaper then something pre-built, but to have someone make something for you will most likely run more...

I'd say take your time, learn some tricks of the trade... Talk w/ local people to get your knowledge base up... And down the line, once you have the know-how, go for it... Not only will you have something custom, but it'll be an accomplishment on your end... Then at shows, when someone as who did your work, you can reply "me"...
