Oh, I see.... I say yes on the HU and amp but no to the subs/tubes..... I have never heard them but I have heard from people that they arent that great... I would go with the Elemental Designs 11KV2 found here

Any reccomendations on enclosures? The reason I picked the bazooka was for the space saving factor.

I looked into the ED stealth box, but I'm not sure on what they sound like.

It would sound a hell of a lot better than a bazooka tube.

^ Amen. JL = yes!

I'm running stock speakers with an AVIC-F700 and a JL 10w7 in the Prowedge box powered by an eD Nine.2. Realllllly underpowered, the amp has to push really hard, but the 10w7 still hits like a truck. Open trunk ftw!

5/10 headunit - don't like Kenwood based on experience but you get points for getting an in-dash screen
5/10 amp - points for getting Excelon Series instead of the regular crap
2/10 subs - Bazooka bleh. the w7 is a great sub but for the money, the ed 13kv or the 11kv are great performers.
0/10 stock speakers

It's your system, so if you're happy with it, then it's a "winner", but if you aren't pleased, then it's a "loser". Point being, asking people to rate it only results in opinions that aren't really important, so just be sure to get something you'll like yourself. Also, the installation is just as or more important than the choice of equipment. FWIW.

The only thing seriously wrong with the stock speakers is their location, which isn't resolved by upgrading to high-end components installed in the stock location. I'd rather have the stock speakers in an optimal kick-panel enclosure, than to have a $500 component set in the stock door location.

Have you heard the Bazooka's before then? I hope so because if you didn't know what the bazooka's or the ed stealth sounded like and you chose bazooka over ed stealth..that'd be pretty crazy. Rest assure..the ED Stealth kicks ___ and you would have more trunk space than you would w/ your Bazookas ;)
