Default Arm Rest Loose

Hey Everyone,
I got a small problem that I found today. I have an 05 Tc. I was putting some stuff into the very top half of the arm rest, and as I attempted to close it, it wouldn't close. After looking at it, I noticed that it was slanted to the right a good cm or 2. I lifted it back up and the whole thing wiggles back and forth to the left and right about an inch. I kinda feel like it might be broken, and I was wondering if anyone else has had this prob who might have fixed it. I can get pics if you guys dont get what I mean. Any help would be appreciated . Thanks

The pieces that closes it is plastic so you might have bendt it, need pics, might be able to go to the dealer and tell them your arm rest dosen't close.

I also have this issue, it's a little piece of plastic that breaks where it hinges at. If you take it apart you can see exactly what I'm talking about.

Dude I meant to do that 3 months ago after driving with the POS armrest for 2 years.
Thank goodness for this thread. I will post pics ASAP if no one else does. I hope that there may be a quick fix. If not, its not to bad, I'm only worried about making it worse, or closing it too hard when its unaligned.

^^^yup thats the exact same problem I have.....when I was looking at it the only way I thought to fix it was to replace it because that plastic piece is cracked.

I dont have a real fix for it yet, but I do have detailed pictures.

^^These things in the box come out. These are the things that are broken, you can see the break marks in the images below.
As far as I know, if these two things are replaced the armrest should be back to 100%. It is funny how BOTH (one from each side) are broken exactly the same.
