Audio controls for on 05 Scion using stock radio

Hey I have a completely stock 05 Scion tC and I’ve found a 07 tC steering wheel with audio controls how do I install the 07 into the 05 with the ability to use the controls?

I dont believe the 05 radio has the capability of remote control.

I was on reddit and saw that someone managed to do it using the 07 tC’s steering wheel but idk if I need anything extra such as the column with the wiring for that. He has yet to reply to me about the subject and I’d like to have this option.
