I am so sorry if there is a thread about this somewhere else, I am having troubles finding the answer.

I was wondering if anyone here knew the differences between the 05 and 06 scion.

In every area - specs, look, engine, etc.

If it is too much to mention here, does anyone know where I can find it?

nothing appearance wise. the only noticable difference is steering wheel audio controls and the unit comes with ***** instead of buttons that the 05 has.

 

Oooh. I want steering wheel audio controls for sure.

I am probably going to be getting my tc within the next 6 months. Woo Hoo!

yeah $200 more..

the changes are in the audio system, as mentioned.. plus in the arm rest console is a 1/8" stereo jack (minijack) input for any portable player (walkman, mp3 player) and it'll play through the radio.. the other option available is the upgraded radio that can control an iPod through a jack in the same area as the minijack (standard) input.. but that's like a $300 more option (the Ipod upgrade).. and of course it comes with a different radio..

the 6 disc changer is gone for 06..

the other change i've noticed in pics is that the seats don't have that blue thread in the inserts (middle) of the seats.. looks like they went to just grey.. a lot of people said it was always grey, but i've looked at my 05 and it's not. it has some blue thread in there..

 

Well I have an 05 so GO 05s!!! even though the steering whell option is pretty cool...is that stock?

 

yes the steering wheel controls are standard for all 06 tC's.. check scion's website for pictures.. also in the member gallery here on scionlife too
