anyone swap the mood light led in the auto dimming rear view mirror? what parts do i need?

 

i was planning on doing the swap sometime. its really out of place with the amber leds when my hole dash is either white or blue. plus i hate the "blue" that comes with the auto dimming mirror.

im just kinda reluctant to rip it apart

 

Ive never tried it, but have heard from others that it cant be done...

 

same here, its ugly my door sill illuminate blue and deck is blue but everything else is amber
