i plug in the ipod and it says no songs. i can't figure it out. i can get it to play music through the video option... then manually control the ipod from the ipod itself.

it's a touch. 1.1.2 or whatever.

the error message is no songs
and it still charges and all.

 

try pluggin the ipod when the car is off and no key in or anything

then turn the car on and try it

 

also ive noticed if you have a song playing and just hook it up while playing sometimes it acts funny

so car off
no music on

then turn on the radio

 

usually i have a song playing and it just jump right into playing the song. i tried everything and i'm still having problems.

car on ipod off
car off ipod on
car on ipod on
car on ipod reset
car restart ipod reset
car off .... etc....

 

i'm gonna try restoring my touch.

 

odd never heard of that problem before and i switch off between my ipod video 5g and iphone all the time.. get that stupid warning about device but can still use it like normal yet browse songs directly on d3

hopefully restore fixes the problem..
