Default Bazooka sub install question

I have an 05 TC and just installed the factory bazooka sub. The directions were great until it came down to connecting it to the radio. There is nothing in there about that.

The sub right now works, but only if it is off balance for right or left channel (not both). I disconnected and reconnected all connections front and back of the car and the same problem exists.

Wondering if anybody else has this problem or any suggestions. I don't think I have it wired incorectly because it does turn on and it does work.

So it only works when it is NOT set to center balance? Does it favor one channel or another?

Was this a new sub and harness? It should be plug and play. Literally. One plug to the sub, run the harness through the car and the other connection to the back of the HU. And I'm pretty sure it can only connect to one place.

Is it possible that the harness got pinched somewhere?

I am thinking that the harness is bad. Or the connection piece of the sub. Because if the harness at the point of connecting to the sub moves slightly, the sub turns off.

They are sending me a new harness and if it still does not work, they are swapping the sub box as well. Hopefully it is just the kit, cause the harness gets here tomorrow and I want it to work.

Sounds like a good start. And it's cool that they're helping you out with it.
