Does anybody know the volume of the "OEM" Bazooka sub box that you can get for the tC?

I searched and did not find anything on it in here.


Thinking about buying on to disect it but wanted the know the volume ahead of time.

 

What exacly are you looking for, decibles?
It's not real loud but it get's the job done.

 

I'm not going to use it.


I am going to use it as a donor part for a project and was wondering the basic air volume of the box.

 

Oh. My bad. I have no idea, how would one measure that?

 

I am not sure. I figured someone here might know from spec sheets or their own methods about what it would be.

Fill it up with measured water amounts?

 

Yeah I thought about that but figured the electronics wouldn't care for the water....

 

I think I might have found my answer. It is about .7 cu ft. I am double checking with the author to see where they got this info.

 

That sounds reasonable, the box isn't very big.

 

It's something around that.... IIRC, there was someone who measured it using a 12x12x12 cardboard box and some packing peanuts

 

That's a good way to find out the volume of any enclosure. Any fill will work fine, popcorn, sand, whatever is handy.
