ok i need a mod to make a flip out 1din head unit fit int he dash and the stock fold down peice still work.... any help would be appreciated, yes, i know this has been asked but so far i havnt found a good for sure answer

Someone said they drilled the mounts back a little bit in order to get it to fit. Neothin maybe? I donno there's a thread lying around here somewhere.

nope neothin has a double din i know the one person that put their pop up in the lower bank and it fit kinda. but if you want a flip up just take off the door

for the flip out it might be a lil more difficult to push the HU back because if u push it too far back the screen will hit when its being opened..your best bet which is worth a try is to have the screen out so its visible and measure the distance from the screen to the waterfall..and subtract a mm or so and take the brackets and measure from the screws what hold the HU and drill new holes there

yeh, i have the door off for now but i hate how ppl can see it, and yeh, i tried to move the mounts back, and tried to put it on the bottom half of the 2 din and if i mess with it the screen cant flip all the way up

It really depends on the unit. Not all of them flip out the same way or as far or have as many adjustments as others. You really just need to get in there and experiment with the deck you are using. Or take it to a shop and let them worry about it.
