I did the same thing last year, but i blacked out everything, i painted all the tan plastic parts black and had wrapped the visors in the black suede, took me bout 8 hours to perform all the wrapping and painted. Overall look came out great, mucho happier that i did it, and after i was done with it, i started to deny other friends that wanted it done because it is literally a PITA if you don't have the right material.
