Default Blown car speakers

Ok so Ive had my tc for about 3 years and have enjoyed listening to really loud music in it. Unfortunately I never invested in a sound system and now both the right speakers are blown

I'm planning on buying a subwoofer for the car but don't really know what speakers I should get for the front and back right side speakers, any suggestions???? I don't even know what they are called, are they tweeters??

Well if you only want to replace the front and rear right speakers then I suggest Oem speakers. There is no sense in buying aftermarket speakers for just one side. Personally I like alpine when It comes to speaker.tweeters are the small speakers in your doors.

sony makes a component set for under 75, do it. OEM will cost that much

The tweeter is the very small speaker located in the very front upper section of the doors.

don't bother with sony.

you have a perfect excuse to put in aftermarket speakers. don't bother replacing them with the OEM ones. If youre going to put in a subwoofer, try to do the purchase all at once. pair a sub with some nice components, polk audio, infinity, something with decent high end. if you're not going to do the sub for a while, stick with alpine as they are typically a bass-heavy speaker. try to amp them as well. check out my uploads in the system thread above as i just did the entire car and am amping my kickers on friday..
