Bored + Speakers = ....
Had some stuff lying around the apartment.
DB6500 Components, dynamat and some MDF cutouts equal partytime!
The cutouts were traced from some Corolla adapters. My friend let me trace them before we put his Infinity Kappa components in. I had to adjust them for the 6-1/2" but it's turned out better than I expected.
I dnyamated the MDF pieces too. Not sure if was a good idea at the time, but I love of it sounds. I used more dynamat than you see in the picture and that helped with noise alot. I didn't do the whole door, but the little bit did use made an awesome difference. (To me anyway)
Edit: I forgot this picture for the statement above.
I was trying to decide how to get the tweets mounted.
I got them mounted. I didn't make anything or use any of the hardware that came with it. You know what I did.
That's all I have for right now. There is more on the way because I'm rocking the factory HU and the Polks are like "Get that ish owtta here!!" So a four channel amp and a mono amp for the sub is on the way as soon as I get the fiberglass kit. My mission is everything as stealth and functional as possible and as much sound quality as I can get.[/img]
