Default Building a carputer, first time...

Alright, I need some assistance. a checklist as it were. I have several computers lying around (small enough to fit just about anywhere in the car. And I was wondering what all I need to make a car computer. Basically, I want a checklist of everything I need, from the wires, to the power, to the screen to use.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. The functionality I'm lookin for is, DVD, Music, basically computer functionality, maybe with a functional GUI if I feel really gutsy!

I have been researching doing this for some time now. mp3car.com is probably the best site to use and has tons of great information. As long as you know your way around computers pretty well, you should be able to build a nice rig for your car. Then, it just comes down to how much you are going to mod your car with running cables, mounting the screen, securing the computer, etc. Good luck.

I build computer as a side job/living, I just have never been that confident when it comes to messing with the car electronically at least at this magnitude.
