Default A/C off but i get cold air from vent

When my A/C is off i get cold air from the vent. When i turn A/C on i dont notice a difference. Recirc is off. Ill ask dealer to check it out when i get my oil changed.

isn't it suppose to be like that? my past cars did it. im not sure but i believe its because the belt is still moving the a/c even though its off. its not to big is it? its only like a hint if not ya problem

could be the reason. i remember though it was never that cold before. i have actually just came back from vacation and was out for about 3 weeks and it only did it after. my car is an 05 btw if it might be an 05 issue.

almost all cars with AC do that all you have to do is hit the recirculate button and it doesnt pull in that little trickle of cold.

I do know that if you turn on the heat (During winter, I assume, otherwise you might be crazy ), and don't turn on the fan, the heat is still on (will slowly radiate through your vents). Obviously haven't tried it yet on my tC, but every car I've been in does this.

It works well for heating up the car without making the inside of car feel like a desert (totally dry) and drying out yours' and your passengers eyes, throats, and other mucousal passage s :D

yea i nkow about the heat thing thats normal... wat does 1ahBSP mean about that little trickle of cold? It was actually 90 degrees today.. I put it on the redzone let it heat up and put it back on blue and it was really cold again. I know wat a/c air feels like lol.

If your vents are on defrost/fog it will run the ac compressor to de-humidify the air its blowing on the windshield.

i found out i was right. brought it to the dealer gave me the explanataion about how thats how it is on any normal car. after the oil change though, the air wasn't cold anymore probably had to do with something electrical?
