Cadence Audio??
ok well i have been posting on a lot of car audio forums lately to research and see what would sound the best to be fiberglassed into my car. 4 out of the 5 sites told me to go with cadence amps(which i know have been known for their quality) and 2 12" cadence subs...are cadence subs any good as well or what??? i am planning on fiberglassing these in to the corners of my hatch if that makes a difference???
What types of music do you listen to?
How loud do you listen to music?
Who's installing the equipment?
What's the installer's skill level?
What's the rest of the stereo equipment consist of?
What's your budget?
What equipment have you heard already that you've liked and disliked?

loud enough where you have to turn it down just a little to talk to your passenger at a normal talking voice; Rock And Rap
Who's installing the equipment?
Me and my friend.
What's the installer's skill level?
My friend has hooked up several systems so i would say more than beginner.
What's the rest of the stereo equipment consist of?
cadence amp, panosonic, head unit, and we are going to fiberglass them into the corners
What's your budget?
$550~ for everything except fiberglass
more or less i just want people to say wow that is a smooth(S/Q) system nicely done[/b]

frankly...there's so many sub options available. cadence just doesnt come to my mind at all when i think about what to go with on subs. 550 covers everything? speakers, subs, amp for speakers, amp for subs, head unit, wire....all that? pm me and let me know. ill be happy to assist you. let me know what forums you're on and i might be able to steer you in a better direction.
ok so what about JL AUDIO 10W1V2 10" subs w/ a eD amp or a hifonics amp...
do these subs need a lot of air space, because i plan on making a fiberglass box in the corners of my trunk??
what watt amp should i get that will provide enough for these??

cadence amps are okay....i was only commenting on the subs. cadence has some really good deals going on from their outlet store on their website right now. be sure to check it out.
10W1V2's aren't gonna do it for you.
you need to define your budget...i know you said 550 for everything....but what exactly is everything? please list out what it includes.
for the time being im gonna guess that its 550 for a head unit, sub, and amp...it sounds like you're keeping you stock speakers. lets assume your head unit's gonna cost 200 bucks. that leaves you with 350 for the rest. first of all....dont get a panasonic head unit...go with pioneer, eclipse or alpine. pioneer is probably best for you though. make sure to buy from crutchfield so you get a wiring harness, mounting kit, and installation instructions all for free.
sub - i'll give you a couple different options. from the namebrand side, phoenix gold RSd's would be awesome. real nice budget subs. that's really the only namebrand one i can recommend for the price.
non-mainstream stuff.... ascendant audio assassin's would do great for you. 110-120 a piece from soundsolutionsaudio.com . the cadence txa-750d amp would be great for a pair of these. 150 for that one from cadence outlet store.
for 120-140 for the pair, these things are an absolute steal. Sundown SD-1's. They weren't appealing to the customer group that sundown wanted so now they're on the way out. no one said a sub had to look good to play good. 2 of these 12's would do great.

image dynamics ID10's would do well for your application. very similar to eD subs. ID used to be eD's builder. http://www.mainstreet-audio.com/Merc...ry_Code=IDSUBS
image dynamics might borderline on namebrand, but regardless, they're still a solid choice. i hope ive give you some direction that you can take. read up. go over to caraudio.com/forum, sign up for an account, and start asking questions. gotta learn somewhere.
