Can I fit 12"s?
I want to see/know where I can install 2 12" SWs?
May I see the setups with external boxes and undertrunk compartment box setups?
Thanks! I'm gonna install my SWs soon...

I'm running on a stock setup and I tried out my amp and SWs this morning and I hooked it to the rear speakers and the SWs sounded like a crappy speaker even at LPF...
Do I need to upgrade my system for my subs to work or can I just get a cross over to get the subs working right?

You could install them in the... um... trunk? I've seen generic rectangle boxes, custom glassed boxes, crazy custom installs...
But two 12s is definitely possible.
I'd suggest going through here:

I bought Kenwoods "Extra Bass" pack and it comes with 2 200W X2 RMS 12"s and a 400W RMS 2 chan amp. I tried it in my Corolla and the bass made the SW jump off my test "plywood board" when a good bass kicked in...
I say it's good enough for that little trunk.
I can do a custom install myself, but I really don't like to remove my spare tire as much as possible and I don't think I'll get a good sound if I cram 2 12"s on the right side... So I'm thinkin about doing it on the left side too and the amp in the middle hovering a bit from the spare tire and I'll wrap em in vinyl, carpet or both...
I'll let you peeps know how it goes.

I really like the D3... But how can I integrate the steering wheel volume controls with a SATNAV?
Also, I need 4 nicely priced 6.5s and I'll run em on 2way 800W RMS 2way amp (not decided on brand). What do you guys suggest?
Thanks! I really need the info on the steering wheel integration.

Are these good enough for the 800W RMS 2way amp?

Do you have ANY clue at all about car audio?
800 watts rms for components is almost un heard of.
And then the speakers you linked to have in big letters the ratings:
» power range: 2-90 watts RMS (270 watts peak power)

I'm gonna run 4 6.5s and 2 12" SWs... I'm getiing some thing with 200W RMS then for each channel on the 2CH amp... (I've over done the 800W thing...)
I'll hook 2 speakers per channel for the speakers and another one like that for the 12" SWs. (the amp that came with the bass pack only gives 100W RMS/SW, so I'll upgrade.)
How can I integrate the stering wheel audio controls on the AVIC D3???
