Default car alarm system

my car was almost broken into the other day, so now I want to buy a car alarm system. Basically my question is which is a good system?

Hi! Sorry to hear about your car (almost?) getting broken in to.

Check out www.Directed.com. I have the (old) Viper 791XV which has remote start (really handy during mornings) and a 2-way remote. I'm sure you'll find something right for you. I got mine from ebay tho..just make sure it's a reputable (high positive feedback) seller.

haha if someone wants to break into your car they will. nobody cares about alarms these days. most people think is just another random alarm going off.

haha yep^ its also nice to know if I locked the doors or not on my clifford lcd. and the panic button to scare off random people too close to my car. and locate my car when i forgot where i parked. also that chirp when you arm it so people know whats up

yea like what tcCalI said, no one gives a shiat about alarms dude. Don't fuggin bother. If tehy wanna get in, they will.

I have never had any issues with my Hornet system. It is set up so the factory key fobs operate it. It has the horn signal when it arms and disarms. It also has a flashing superbright blue LED to let everyone know it is armed.

someone tried to jack my escort passport 9500i gps radar
so now im racing to get a damn alarm system
wanna go with the karr oem system but people say its a POS
im thinking of just buying some toyota VIP theft deterent decals and putting them on my window......
